As many of you will already know Tigers and hockey as a whole lost a stalwart of the game both on and off the pitch on the 1st April this year. Jaswinder 'Benson' Singh Bassan was a true gentleman whether playing or umpiring and was taken away from us way too early at only 50 years of age.

I would like to take this opportunity to invite everyone along to Hamstead Hall School on Saturday 19th May for a 2:30 start, where a game in memory of Benson is to take place between a select Handsworth Eagles old boys XI and a Barford Tigers XI. It would be great to get as many people along as possible to pay their respects
